Use a classic round jighead, a Ned head or a drop-shot hook. Westin particularly highlights drop-shot presentation, and the micro curltail responds to very small twitches, making it suitable for a finely controlled retrieve.
The 5 cm, 0.5 g body is intended for finesse fishing for smaller predators, including perch, and can be used in still or flowing water throughout the year. Westin especially recommends spring, when predators feed on small fry and insects, so it fits situations where a small presentation matters.
The TPE body floats and can stand upright with a suitable presentation. This describes the softbait body, not a fixed running depth for the finished rig, so choose the mounting to suit your presentation.
Fireflash, Chili Flake, Violett Goby, Dark Water Mix 23, Clear Water Mix 23 and Bass Hunter differ by their colour option. Every pack contains six 5 cm, 0.5 g bodies with the same buoyancy and rigging choices, so you can change colour without changing the lure format.
No. Westin explicitly says not to store this TPE material with other lures. Keep the Ned Worm Curltail separate when packing or storing your tackle, even though the material itself is highly elastic and strong.

The Westin Ned Worm Curltail is a floating softbait for finesse fishing for smaller predators, including perch. Its slim, soft body and easy-action micro curltail offer a compact presentation that responds to small rod movements, including slow retrieves for cautious or inactive fish. Each lure measures 5 cm and weighs 0.5 g.
Mount it on a classic round jighead, a Ned head or a drop-shot hook. Westin highlights drop-shot fishing as a particularly effective presentation. The buoyant body can stand upright with a suitable setup, while the sensitive curltail moves with minimal input. The soft material and slim profile make the small lure easy for predators to take.
Use it throughout the year in still or flowing water. It is especially suited to spring situations when predators feed on small fry and insects, or other times when small prey dominate.
The highly elastic, strong TPE material combines softness with resistance to stretching. It is free from toxic phthalates. Store these TPE lures separately from other lures, as Westin explicitly warns against keeping them together.
Choose Fireflash, Chili Flake, Violett Goby, Dark Water Mix 23, Clear Water Mix 23 or Bass Hunter. Colour is the difference within this family, with the two Mix versions offered under their supplier assortment names. All versions share the same 5 cm length, 0.5 g weight, floating body and rigging options. Each pack contains six softbait bodies, so colour selection does not change the lure size or pack quantity.
