The Westin Magic Minnow Jig is a soft sea fishing lure for active fishing for cod and sea trout, also described as suitable for black bass. Its concealed hook and weedless design reduce snagging when fishing through kelp or close to steep, rugged rocky shores.
The slim body and paddle tail produce the lure's swimming movement. It can be jigged or simply reeled in, with very slow or very fast retrieves, so you can vary the presentation from either a boat or the shore. The optimised rubber compound keeps the soft body flexible, while the jighead has a lifelike shape.
A very sharp Wide Gap offset hook is made specifically for the Magic Minnow. Hook slots on the back and belly allow concealed rigging. Place the hook point in the slot when mounting the body to preserve the intended swimming action and reduce snagging.
The Fast Attach System lets you change the soft body in seconds. Hold the body against the jighead, connect it to the head using the hook, then pull the hook until the eyelet locks with an audible click.
