It runs at 2.5–4.2 m and rises when paused because it is floating. The diving depth is marked on the bill and packaging in metres and feet, so you can select the working depth and use pauses for an upward movement.
It is intended for perch, pike and zander in freshwater and saltwater, from the bank or boat. Its tight action suits groynes, rocky ridges and underwater edges, while the long-cast system helps reach more distant structure. Zander use in murky water or at dusk is also described.
Use a steady, medium to brisk retrieve to produce its tight, high-frequency action. This simple retrieve is suitable for beginners. Stop-and-go pauses make the floating lure rise, giving you a different presentation without changing lures.
Only the colour differs across these eight variants. Each is 5.3 cm, weighs 12 g and floats with a 2.5–4.2 m diving range. You receive one crankbait in the selected colour with Teflon-coated treble hooks. No colour-specific conditions are supplied, so colour choice does not change the stated fishing depth.
The supplier recommends a steel leader for pike to protect against bite-offs and describes a thin fluorocarbon leader for perch and zander. Choose the leader for the fish you are targeting rather than for the lure colour.

The Westin Id-Crank 4.0 is a floating crankbait for perch, pike and zander in freshwater and saltwater. At 5.3 cm and 12 g, it runs at 2.5–4.2 m. Its I.D. (In Depth) concept marks the diving depth directly on the bill and packaging in metres and feet, helping you select a lure for the water layer you want to fish.
A tight, aggressive, high-frequency swimming action imitates a fleeing baitfish. Use a steady, medium to brisk retrieve around groynes, rocky ridges, bank edges and submerged obstacles. The compact action suits confined structure, while its vibrations provide a presentation for zander in murky water or at dusk. Its straightforward retrieve also makes it suitable for beginners.
The floating body rises when you pause, so stop-and-go fishing lets you alternate the diving retrieve with an upward movement. It is a diving lure, not a dedicated surface lure. The integrated long-cast system supports distance and accurate placement when fishing from the bank, coast or boat, including estuaries and underwater edges.
The body is made from ABS plastic and is lead-free. Ultra-sharp, Teflon-coated treble hooks support hook penetration on short bites. Realistic eyes and hand-painted finishes provide visual detail, including for clear-water fishing. For pike fishing, the supplier recommends a steel leader. A thin fluorocarbon leader is described for perch and zander.
Choose from Bone, Bling Perch, Gold Shad, Wakasagi, Matt Shad, Matt Tiger, Caramel Craw and Ayu. All eight versions share the same length, weight, floating behaviour and diving range, so the choice changes the colour rather than the depth or retrieve. No colour-specific fishing conditions are specified. Each variant contains one crankbait in the selected colour, fitted with treble hooks.
