It is designed for large halibut with baitfish such as coalfish or other sea fish. The lead-weighted rig supports fishing near the seabed in deep offshore water and along coastal drop-offs, including in Norway and Iceland.
Each of the three colours, Glow, Orange Flash and Pink Flash, is available in 350 g, 450 g and 550 g. Choose the weight to suit depth and current, from the lightest 350 g option to the heaviest 550 g option. Trace and hooks remain identical, with no supplier ratings for specific depths or colour conditions.
You receive one rig with a 190 cm trace of 1 mm nylon monofilament, a 7/0 single hook, a 3/0 PermaSteel treble hook and the selected lead weight. The tied trace and hooks form the baitfish mounting system, so these components do not need to be assembled separately.
The design is intended to prevent line twist while letting the baitfish move naturally in the current. This supports a natural presentation when fishing for halibut in offshore water or along coastal drop-offs.

The Westin Halibut Anti Twist Rig is a ready-made baitfish rig for targeting large halibut in deep offshore water and along coastal drop-offs. Its anti-twist design is intended to prevent line twist while allowing the baitfish to move naturally in the current.
