Westin Goby: aggressive action for coastal sea trout

The Westin Goby is a sea trout lure that imitates a goby, a common forage fish along Scandinavian coasts. Its aggressive action attracts sea trout, salmon, garfish and cod. Long-casting performance helps you cover coastal water when searching for sea trout.

Construction and hook attachment

Each Goby measures 6.5 cm, weighs 14 g and is made from ABS plastic and lead. It comes with a size 4 VMC 9649 BN hook. Two split rings between the body and hook reduce leverage during the fight, allowing more movement at the hook connection.

Choose the colour without changing the specifications

All 13 versions share the same length, weight, materials and hook setup. The difference is the colour, so you can change the pattern without changing lure size or weight. Choose from UV Real Goby, Sunrise, UV Sinking Wedding, Copper Diamond, UV Hottie, UV Hottie Pearl, UV Pickled Sardine, RA Tobis, Yellow Diamond, Pearl Ghost, RA Hottie, RA Viol and Silver Albino.

Each pack contains one lure in the selected colour, not a colour assortment.

Frequently asked

Which fish and fishing situation is the Goby intended for?

The Goby is primarily a coastal sea trout lure. Its goby imitation, aggressive action and long-casting performance suit searching coastal water for sea trout. The supplier also names salmon, garfish and cod as target species.

Do the colour variants differ in size or equipment?

No. All 13 colours measure 6.5 cm, weigh 14 g and have the same ABS plastic and lead construction, size 4 VMC 9649 BN hook and two split rings. You can choose a different pattern while keeping the same size, weight and hook setup.

What is included, and what do the two split rings do?

You receive one lure in the chosen colour, fitted with a size 4 VMC 9649 BN hook. Two split rings in front of the hook reduce leverage during the fight. The hook connection is already part of the lure, so you do not need to buy a separate hook to equip it.
