It is intended for deadbait fishing in shallow swims at short range, particularly for pike and also for zander in freshwater. Its short, squat shape is specified for this situation, so select it for close-range shallow-water presentations rather than treating it as a distance-fishing model.
Yes. Every variant has an inner tube for the main line and a fixed bottom eyelet for waggler-style attachment. The metal sleeve at the top of the tube protects the line during line-through use, so you can choose either attachment method without changing float size.
Buoyancy rating and dimensions change. The 10g float is 6.5cm long and 3.5cm wide and deep, the 15g float is 7cm long and 3.8cm wide and deep, and the 25g float is 7.5cm long and 4cm wide and deep. Choose the rating to suit your setup's load, accepting a larger body for higher buoyancy. All retain the same materials and two rigging options.
Each retail pack contains one float in the selected buoyancy rating. It has a strong PVC body with a transparent water-green camouflage finish and a high-visibility antenna, combining a subdued body with a visible point to watch for bites.

The Westin Fat Slider is a short, squat deadbait float for fishing shallow swims at short range. Designed for pike fishing and also suitable for zander in freshwater, it has a high-visibility antenna to help you keep track of the float. Its traditional shape is combined with a design developed by European pike anglers.
Thread the main line through the inner tube for line-through rigging, or use the fixed bottom eyelet for a waggler-style attachment. A metal sleeve reinforces the top of the tube to protect the line where it enters. Both attachment options are available on every size, so choosing a different buoyancy rating does not change how you can rig the float.
The body is made from strong PVC with a transparent, water-green camouflage finish. The high-visibility antenna provides a conspicuous point to watch above the water, while the body retains its subdued finish.
The range comprises 10g at 6.5cm long, 15g at 7cm long and 25g at 7.5cm long. Their respective widths and depths are 3.5cm, 3.8cm and 4cm. The 10g version is the most compact and has the lowest buoyancy rating, the 15g version is intermediate, and the 25g version offers the highest buoyancy rating in a larger body. Choose the rating to suit the load of your deadbait setup. All three share the shallow-water, short-range purpose rather than having separate depth or distance recommendations. Each retail pack contains one float.
