Use a shallow rig for shallow water or a regular jighead for deeper presentations. Slots in the belly and back allow a concealed offset hook for weedless rigging, making that setup an option when fishing through weeds or around structure.
Yes. The curltail moves at very slow speeds alongside the lure's rolling belly action. Westin describes very slow retrieves in deep water and faster retrieves over shallow weeds, so the retrieve can change with the fishing situation without requiring a different lure model.
The 8 cm/3 g version contains three lures, while 10 cm/6 g and 14 cm/15 g contain two each. Choose the smaller, lighter or larger, heavier body for your intended presentation, then select the colour. All packs contain lures in one selected colour, with the widest colour choice at 10 cm.
Westin names pike, perch and zander for the 8 cm, 10 cm and 14 cm sizes. The family therefore covers these predators without assigning a single size to each species. Choose the body length and weight for the presentation you want, then use a jighead or offset setup to suit the fishing spot.

The Westin Bullteez Curltail is a softbait for active lure fishing for pike, perch and zander. It combines the Bullteez body with a fluttering curltail and rolling belly action. The tail moves even at very slow retrieve speeds, so you can slow the presentation without losing its movement. It offers a curltail alternative to the Bullteez Shadtail.
Retrieve it very slowly in deep water or faster over shallow weed beds. Use a shallow rig for shallow presentations or a regular jighead to fish deeper. The belly and back have slots for a concealed offset hook, allowing weedless rigging for fishing through weeds and around structure. The same body supports both jighead and offset-hook presentations, so choose the rig for the depth and cover you intend to fish.
The family has three length and weight combinations. The 8 cm, 3 g version is the smallest and lightest, with three lures per pack. The 10 cm, 6 g version sits between the other sizes and comes in packs of two. The 14 cm, 15 g version offers the largest and heaviest body in this family, also with two lures per pack. Choose by the lure size and body weight you want to present, rather than treating the listed weight as a complete rig weight. Westin names pike, perch and zander for all three sizes, so species alone does not dictate a single size.
Bass Orange, Bling Perch, Dirty Harbor, Headlight, Holy Chartreuse, Official Roach, Sparkling Chartreuse and Tiger Perch are available in all three sizes. The 10 cm version also offers Black/Chartreuse, Blue Headlight, Fireflash, Gold Rush, Green Tomato, Motoroil Pepper, Pearl Sand, Pink Headlight, Sparkling Blue and UV Craw. Each pack contains lures in the selected colour.
Realistic eyes add a visual detail to the presentation. The lure is free from toxic phthalates. Across the sizes and colours, the defining features remain the slow-speed curltail movement, rolling belly action and slots for offset rigging.
