These steel-wire stingers add a sharp, strong treble hook to shads and softbaits, including rigs for pike. They are designed to increase hook-ups and reduce lost fish. A bait spike holds the stinger on the lure without burying the treble in the soft plastic, leaving the hook hanging freely.
Use the split ring to attach the stinger at the front of a jighead, to a shad screw or to a shallow rig. Secure the spike in the softbait to position the hook. This gives you several mounting options without using the treble itself to hold the rig in the lure. The construction uses 1x7 steel wire and includes a barrel swivel and split ring.
