The stingers can be mounted on a wide range of soft lures with shallow screws, screw-in heads or conventional jigheads. Choose one of these mounting systems and select the stinger length to suit your desired hook position.
Only the supplied length differs among the listed core specifications. Both have a 40 kg strength rating, #2/0 hooks and two stingers per pack. Choose 6 cm for a hook position closer to the attachment point or 10 cm for more reach along the lure.
The joints allow free 360° rotation after a hook-up, helping reduce lost fish. Swivels also replace wire and add weight that helps stabilise the lure's swimming action. Include that added weight when planning your lure setup.
Westin specifies pike, muskie and zander for softbait use. The HD construction has larger, stronger swivels and strong, ultra-sharp treble hooks, so choose the length for your soft lure rather than selecting a different strength rating within this family.
