The joint lets the softbait move naturally with a crawling action and retain its ability to stand upright. It allows heavier heads for longer casts, deeper fishing and better bottom contact without giving up that upright presentation.
Chartreuse and Green Pumpkin each come in 3.5, 5.3, 7 and 10.6 g. Choose the weight according to the distance, depth and bottom contact you need, from the lightest 3.5 g option to the heaviest 10.6 g option. Hook size #1 is the same throughout, so changing weight does not change hook size.
An adjustable fluorocarbon keeper retains the softbait. The hook has a 3° offset point, but the suppliers do not describe it as weedless. Choose your softbait to suit the size #1 hook and do not treat the point offset as a weedless guarantee.
Each variant is supplied as a pack of three jig heads. Store them dry in a secure box with sharp points covered and check for damage or rust before use. Replace damaged heads rather than continuing to fish them.

The VMC Swingin Ned Rig Jig is an articulated jig head for presenting softbaits on a Ned rig. An adjustable fluorocarbon keeper holds the softbait in place and can be adjusted to suit its mounting. Every variant has a size #1 hook and a point offset by 3°. This point detail does not specify a weedless setup.
Both Chartreuse and Green Pumpkin are available in 3.5, 5.3, 7 and 10.6 g. Choose 3.5 g for the lowest head weight in the range, 5.3 or 7 g for intermediate weight, and 10.6 g when you need the most weight for casting distance, bottom contact or depth. The weight changes, but the hook size and articulated design remain the same. Choose the colour separately, as both finishes cover the full weight range. Packs contain three jig heads.
Handle the sharp points carefully, using pliers or an unhooking tool where appropriate. Check for bent points, rust or other damage before use and replace damaged heads. Store dry in a secure box with points covered, away from unsupervised children and pets. Use only for fishing, follow local regulations and do not leave tackle or packaging in the environment.
