The VMC 8357NT is a single hook for large catfish and saltwater livebait fishing. Its high resistance to opening suits demanding bait fishing, while the sharp Cone Cut® point provides excellent penetration into hard fish mouths.
The premium NT (PTFE) coating gives the hook a very smooth surface. Combined with the Cone Cut® point, it supports penetration when setting the hook. The hook uses Hi-Carbon steel with a flattened steel profile, a Technical Locking Curve and a half-offset shape. These construction details accompany the supplier's 6X STRONG designation, which is not a load rating in kilograms.
The family includes size 5/0 in packs of seven, size 7/0 in packs of five and size 9/0 in packs of three. All three share the same point, coating and construction. Choose the hook size to suit your bait and intended rig. Moving from 5/0 to 9/0 gives you a larger hook but fewer hooks per pack. No bait-size limits or numerical load capacities are supplied.
