The VMC 7316LD Leaded Texan Hook combines an optimized lead weight on the shank with an extremely sharp Needle Cone™ point, giving you the perfect foundation for rigging soft baits weedless and getting them into the strike zone faster.
The 1.5 g lead weight molded onto the hook shank lets your soft plastic reach the target depth quickly without adding separate weights. This bait-optimized weighting keeps your lure horizontal during the drop and maintains a natural action, making it ideal for fishing drop-offs, deeper weed edges, and structure where bass and pike hold.
VMC's Needle Cone™ point geometry delivers exceptional sharpness and penetration, even on light line and through thick plastic baits. The offset design and wide gap provide reliable hook-ups on Texas-rigged soft plastics, while the black nickel coating offers good corrosion resistance for both fresh and saltwater use.
