The VMC 7264AH Jigging Assist Hook is built for vertical metal jigs and speed jigging in salt water. It combines a stiffened assist connection, a long Needle Sharp point, and UV tinsel for a cleaner presentation and more secure hook-ups.
This ready-to-use assist hook rig suits anglers fishing metal jigs for predatory saltwater species. The design helps the hook sit and move well alongside the jig during fast or vertical presentations.
A fluorocarbon core stiffens the assist braid and helps reduce tangles around the jig. It also limits leverage during the fight, which can help the hook stay in place once a fish is connected.
UV tinsel adds extra visibility under water and can help draw attention to the lure. The tin coating supports corrosion resistance for regular saltwater use.
The extra-long chemically sharpened Needle Sharp point and wide hook bend are designed to improve hook penetration and holding power. This makes the series a practical choice for anglers who want a dependable assist hook for offshore and coastal jigging.
Choose the size that matches your jig, target species, and preferred profile. Pack content varies by hook size in this series.
