It is a single hook for saltwater lure fishing, especially common vertical and metal jigs. Its wide gap accommodates the jig body and the 8° out-turned eye improves presentation. Choose the hook size to suit your lure, as no lure-weight or species-specific sizing chart is supplied.
The range runs from 2/0 to 13/0. You receive 10 hooks at 2/0, 8 at 3/0 and 5/0, 6 at 7/0, 5 at 9/0, 3 at 11/0 and 2 at 13/0. Larger sizes come with fewer hooks, so check both the size and count when buying replacements.
TI denotes Tin and CB denotes Coastal Black. They identify the finish, while the wide-gap construction, out-turned eye and Needle Point belong to the same hook design. No comparative performance advantage is stated, so select the finish listed for the variant rather than assuming a different hook shape or strength.
Check for bent points, damage and corrosion, and make sure the attachment is secure. Do not use damaged hooks. Handle the sharp points with pliers or a hook remover, then store the hooks dry and secured in a box or holder to reduce injury and corrosion risks.

The VMC 7264 Jigging Hook is a strong carbon-steel single hook for lure fishing for saltwater predators. Its wide gap accommodates common vertical and metal jigs, including slim jig bodies, while the chemically sharpened Needle Point helps the hook penetrate. The point and broad bend help reduce lost fish during the fight. For sizes 3/0 to 13/0, the manufacturer also specifies an extra-long point.
The eye bends outwards by 8°, making rigging easier and improving the hook's presentation on the lure. The broad bend provides room around the jig, so choose a hook size that suits the lure and intended fish rather than treating every size as interchangeable.
Carbon steel provides the strong construction described for hard-fighting fish. The supplier describes the coating as helping penetration and resisting corrosion. The family includes Tin (TI) and Coastal Black (CB) finishes. These are finish options, not different hook patterns, and the evidence does not establish a performance advantage of one over the other. Choose the finish stated for the individual variant.
Sizes are 2/0, 3/0, 5/0, 7/0, 9/0, 11/0 and 13/0. Packs contain 10 hooks at 2/0, 8 at 3/0 and 5/0, 6 at 7/0, 5 at 9/0, 3 at 11/0 and 2 at 13/0. Larger sizes therefore provide fewer spare hooks per pack. No lure-weight range or species-specific size chart is supplied.
Use pliers or a hook remover when handling sharp hooks. Check the hook and its attachment before use, and replace bent, damaged or corroded hooks. Store hooks dry in a secure box or holder and cover exposed points when not in use. Keep them away from unsupervised children and pets, and keep other people and animals clear when casting. These hooks are for fishing only and must be used in accordance with local rules.
