Yes. UC 4 Gorilla is a main line for sbirolino and bombarda fishing, trout trolling and static trout-float fishing on ponds and lakes. You can retain the same main line when switching between these methods.
The combinations are 0.16 mm with 3.40 kg, 0.18 mm with 4.00 kg, 0.20 mm with 4.80 kg and 0.22 mm with 5.70 kg breaking strain. Choose the thinner option or the higher stated strength to suit your setup. Length, colour and stated handling properties are unchanged.
The supplier states very good knot strength, high abrasion resistance and almost no memory effect. These support tied connections, resistance to friction and reduced spool-coil retention, useful when casting, retrieving and playing trout.
Each variant includes one spool with 350 m of dark brown main line. Only diameter and breaking strain change, so you receive the same amount and colour whichever variant you choose.

Tubertini UC 4 Gorilla is a dark brown monofilament main line for trout ponds and lakes. Very good knot strength and high abrasion resistance support reliable connections and resistance to wear during fishing. Each spool holds 350 m, with four diameter and breaking-strain combinations to choose from.
The line suits sbirolino and bombarda fishing, trout trolling, and static fishing with trout floats. This lets you use the same main line for active and passive methods at the trout fishery. The supplier also describes it as suitable for playing large rainbow trout. Choose the breaking strain to match your setup rather than treating it as a fish-weight limit.
Very low line memory reduces the line's tendency to retain coils from the spool, helping handling when you cast and retrieve. High abrasion resistance matters where the line encounters friction, while very good knot strength supports the tied connections in your setup.
All variants share the same length, colour and stated handling properties. The differences are diameter and breaking strain:
| Diameter | Breaking strain | Spool length | | --- | --- | --- | | 0.16 mm | 3.40 kg | 350 m | | 0.18 mm | 4.00 kg | 350 m | | 0.20 mm | 4.80 kg | 350 m | | 0.22 mm | 5.70 kg | 350 m |
Choose 0.16 mm for the thinnest option in the range. The 0.18 mm and 0.20 mm versions offer intermediate steps in diameter and strength. Choose 0.22 mm for the highest stated breaking strain. The trade-off is greater diameter as strength increases, not a change in the supported trout-fishing methods.
One spool containing 350 m of dark brown line in the selected diameter and breaking strain is supplied.
