No. It was developed for the Tremarella technique, but the supplier also specifies static trout fishing. You can use it for a slowly retrieved trout rig or a stationary presentation, rather than choosing a different sinker solely because you stop retrieving.
Feed the line into the slightly pointed end and out through the rounded end, which improves casting flight. Gently check the line just before the rig lands so it slows and straightens out, reducing the chance of a tangled rig entering the water.
Let the rig reach the bottom with the rod pointing towards the landing spot, then raise the rod to about 45° to the water. Vibrate it from the wrist while retrieving very slowly. Pause briefly if the rig rises too far so it can regain bottom contact and stay in the intended feeding zone.
The 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 g packs contain five sinkers each. The 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 6.0 g packs contain four each. Choose by the weight your rig needs and account for the lower pack count from 4.0 g upwards. No fixed fishing depth is specified for any weight.

The TFT Tremarello Blei short is a lead sinker developed for trout fishing with the Tremarella technique. It suits both slowly retrieved and static trout rigs. Its slightly pointed end and rounded end look similar at first, but threading the line in the correct direction improves its flight when casting.
Feed the line into the pointed end and out through the rounded end. Just before the rig touches the water, gently check the line to slow the cast. This helps the rig straighten out and reduces tangling as it lands.
After casting, let the rig sink to the bottom with the rod pointing directly towards the landing spot. Then raise the rod to about 45° to the water. Once the rig reaches the bottom, make the rod vibrate using movements from the wrist while winding the reel very slowly.
For trout close to the bottom, avoid lifting the rig too far. Briefly pause the retrieve so it can regain bottom contact before continuing. The sinker is also suitable for static trout fishing, so its use is not limited to an active Tremarella retrieve.
Choose the weight required for your trout rig. The 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 g versions each contain five sinkers. The 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 6.0 g versions each contain four. Moving to a heavier version increases the individual sinker weight, but packs from 4.0 g upwards contain one fewer sinker. The supplier does not specify a fishing depth for each weight. All versions share the same intended Tremarella and static fishing uses.
