Strike King Shim-E-Stick: shimmering action for perch and zander

The Strike King Shim-E-Stick is a 12.5cm soft plastic worm for active predator fishing, including perch and zander. Its elongated body produces a shimmering action, giving you a moving worm presentation rather than a baitfish profile.

Soft compound and ribbed body

The worm combines a soft rubber compound with a ribbed body and high salt content. The flexible construction supports its movement during the retrieve. The supplier also lists it as a drop-shot bait, making it an option when choosing a soft worm for that setup.

Five colours, one size

Choose from Smokey Shad, Watermelon-Blk Flk, Watermelon-Chart Swirl, Watermelon-Red and Blk, and Watermelon-Chart Laminate. Colour is the only stated difference between these variants. All share the same 12.5cm length, construction and action, so changing colour does not require changing lure size.

Each pack contains seven worms in the selected colour, providing replacements without mixing colours.

Frequently asked

Which fish and setup is the Shim-E-Stick intended for?

It is intended for active predator fishing, with perch and zander explicitly named. The supplier also lists drop-shot use, so the 12.5cm worm is an option for that presentation. No specific hook size is given, so hook sizing remains a separate setup choice.

What changes between the colour variants, and how many worms are included?

Only the stated colour changes: Smokey Shad, Watermelon-Blk Flk, Watermelon-Chart Swirl, Watermelon-Red and Blk or Watermelon-Chart Laminate. Every pack contains seven 12.5cm worms in one selected colour, so choose by colour without changing size or pack quantity.

What kind of movement and construction does the worm offer?

The elongated body produces a shimmering action for active predator fishing. It uses a soft rubber compound, a ribbed design and high salt content, making it a choice for anglers looking for a flexible worm presentation rather than a fish-shaped lure.
