The Hack Attack Heavy Cover Flipping Jig is a skirted lure for perch and zander fishing around underwater obstacles. Its head design and weed guard help keep debris away from the hook, reducing snagging when working the lure through cover.
When a fish takes the jig, its mouth presses the weed guard down so the hook can engage. The guard helps protect the hook during the retrieve, but does not guarantee snag-free fishing. A Gamakatsu Black Nickel hook and a 30° attachment eye, intended to improve hook-up rates, form part of the same setup.
The silicone-fibre skirt adds movement as you work the lure. This provides lure action during active perch and zander fishing while the head and guard help it pass obstacles.
The family offers 10.6 g, 14.2 g and 21.3 g versions. The 10.6 g jig is the lightest choice, 14.2 g is intermediate and 21.3 g is the heaviest. Choose the weight your fishing setup requires, with the same hook, weed guard and silicone skirt across these versions.
