It is intended for carp fishing at short to medium distances. Choose this size 5500 reel for those situations rather than assuming it is a specialist long-distance reel.
The Quick Drag system allows precise adjustment with half a turn. This lets you alter the drag setting quickly while playing a fish, but the specification does not establish a separate baitrunner function.
It holds 300 m of 0.30 mm line and retrieves 99 cm per handle turn with a 5.5:1 gear ratio. Use the capacity to plan your line load and the retrieve figure to compare how much line you wind in with each turn.

The Strategy Scr is a size 5500 fixed-spool reel for carp fishing at short to medium distances. Its Quick Drag system provides precise adjustment with half a turn, allowing you to change the drag setting quickly while playing a fish.
The spool holds 300 m of 0.30 mm line. This capacity is tied to the stated line diameter, so use that specification when planning your line load. A 5.5:1 gear ratio and 99 cm of line retrieve per handle turn help bring your rig back in between casts. The reel has a 5+1 bearing arrangement and an S- Curve gear system.
The body and rotor are graphite, and the CNC-machined aluminium handle is used to wind in line. At 400 g, the reel's weight is a useful reference when choosing the weight of your carp setup.
