It is designed to add a trailing hook to soft plastic lures during active fishing. The Gamakatsu 13B treble provides an extra hook point that can reduce missed bites, rather than serving as a complete lure.
Size #4 comes in 6, 7 and 8 cm, while #2 and #1 each come in 8, 10 and 12 cm. Choose length for the desired hook position along your lure and hook size for its dimensions. At 8 cm you can compare all three hook sizes without changing length. Specific lure-length limits are not supplied.
Slip the stinger loop over the hook eye and secure it with your snap. This attachment uses the existing hook eye, and the snap stops the loop from slipping off. Your setup therefore needs a hook eye and a snap for this mounting method.
The 7x7 stainless steel wire has 49 strands and is smooth and supple with little memory effect. It is easy to position on the lure and retains little of its previous shape, which helps when adjusting the trailing hook's position.

The American Fishing Wire has a 49-strand construction. Its smooth, supple feel makes it easy to position the stinger on a soft lure, while the low memory effect means it retains little of its previous shape.
Place the stinger loop over the hook eye, then secure it with your snap. The snap prevents the loop from slipping off during active fishing.
Hook size #4 is available with 6, 7 or 8 cm wire lengths. Sizes #2 and #1 each come in 8, 10 or 12 cm lengths. A shorter stinger places the trailing hook closer to the attachment eye, while a longer one reaches farther along the lure. Choose the length to suit your soft lure and the intended hook position.
At 8 cm, all three hook sizes are available. At 10 and 12 cm, choose between #2 and #1. Size #1 is the largest hook in the line and #4 the smallest, so you can adjust hook size independently of length within these combinations. No specific lure-length limits are supplied.
