It is intended for light perch fishing with finesse rigs, jigging and reel-driven bottom-hopping retrieves. The 1000 model weighs 210 g and has a graphite body and rotor, making it a match for a light spinning rod rather than a heavy lure setup.
The shallow aluminium spool holds 150 m of 0.13 mm line. This gives you a fill reference for that diameter, not a capacity for every line thickness. Use the stated diameter when planning your line quantity.
The specified retrieve is 72 cm per handle turn, with a 5.2:1 gear ratio. That lets you judge how much line you take up when working a jig with the handle, while the retrieve speed depends on how quickly you turn it.

The Spro Freestyle Skillz 1000 is a spinning reel for light perch fishing with finesse rigs, jigging and bottom-hopping retrieves driven by the reel. Its graphite body and rotor keep the weight to 210 g, making it a match for a light spinning rod.
The 5.2:1 gear ratio delivers 72 cm of line per handle turn, a useful reference for controlling the retrieve when working a jig with the handle. The reel has 4+1 bearings and S-CURVE gearing for its smooth-running retrieve. An aluminium frame supports the gearing inside the graphite body, and the handle is also aluminium. The Multi-Disk drag system controls line release when playing a fish.
The shallow aluminium spool holds 150 m of 0.13 mm line. Use that diameter-specific capacity to plan the spool fill for your light setup. The model supplied here is the 1000.
