Spro Freestyle FS8 Braid is a braided fishing line for freshwater lure fishing for perch, zander and pike. Its stretch-free construction transmits lure movement, bottom contact and bites directly, helping you follow the lure and recognise takes while spinning. Every variant comes in Hi-Vis Chartreuse with 125 m of line.
The highly visible Chartreuse colour helps you watch the line as light conditions change, adding a visual cue to the feedback felt through the rod. Tightly woven strands give the line a soft, supple feel. The smooth surface and even braid help it run quietly and evenly through the rod guides, which matters during repeated casting and retrieving.
The range offers high breaking strain relative to diameter. Choose by the diameter and stated breaking strain required for your setup, rather than by colour or length, which are identical across the family.
The options are 0.08 mm with 6.5 kg, 0.10 mm with 8.4 kg, 0.13 mm with 9.5 kg, 0.16 mm with 11.5 kg, 0.18 mm with 16.5 kg and 0.20 mm with 19 kg. The 0.08 mm version is the finest option, while 0.10 mm and 0.13 mm add breaking strain with small increases in diameter. The 0.16 mm version sits between these finer lines and the stronger 0.18 mm and 0.20 mm options. Moving up the range increases breaking strain but also line diameter.
You receive 125 m of line in the selected diameter and breaking strain. Visibility, stretch-free feedback and supple handling are shared across all six versions.
