Choose 18 g or 21 g for a 4/0 hook, and 24 g or 28 g for a 5/0 hook. A heavier head provides more weight for bottom contact in depth or current, while a lighter head sinks more slowly. Match the hook to your softbait as well, because stepping from 21 g to 24 g also increases hook size.
The supplier recommends fluorescent red for murky water, dusk and aggressive feeding behaviour. The coloured head adds a visual trigger, so this family is an option when you want that extra attraction rather than a neutral-coloured head.
