It is designed for pike fishing with whole deadbaits or fish sections on float and ledger setups. The adjustable hook spacing accommodates different bait sizes, so you can fit the hooks to the bait you are using.
You can set the gap between the hooks to suit the bait. This lets the wire lie against it, avoiding a gap that leaves the trace standing away from the bait or pulls the bait into a bend. Choose the hook positions for the bait rather than treating the full trace length as a fixed bait size.
At 30 cm, choose 6.8 kg with #6 hooks or 9.1 kg with #4 hooks. At 45 cm, both #4 and #2 versions are rated at 13.7 kg. The two #4 options change length and strength while keeping hook size, whereas the two 45 cm options change hook size alone. Match those differences to your bait and setup.
Each pack contains one trace made from brown-coated 1x7 steel wire, fitted with Gamakatsu single and treble hooks. Their strength and sharpness support hooking in the hard pike mouth and playing large fish. You receive one rig in the selected specification, not an assortment of the four versions.

The trace uses 1x7 steel wire with a brown coating. Gamakatsu single and treble hooks provide the strength and sharpness needed for hook penetration in a pike's hard mouth and for playing large pike. The adjustable spacing lets you position these hooks to suit the bait rather than forcing the bait to fit a fixed gap.
The 30 cm versions come with a 6.8 kg strength rating and size #6 hooks, or a 9.1 kg rating and size #4 hooks. Choose between them according to the hook size your bait needs and the trace strength required for your setup.
Both 45 cm versions are rated at 13.7 kg, with either size #4 or size #2 hooks. They provide a longer trace and a higher strength rating than the 30 cm versions. Comparing the two #4 options lets you change trace length and strength without changing hook size. At 45 cm, the #2 option gives you larger hooks without changing length or strength. Hook spacing remains adjustable on every version, so overall trace length is not a fixed bait-length requirement.
