Spro 7x7 Supreme AFW Steel Wire is steel leader material for making predator leaders, rigs and stingers. Intended for spinning, it can also be used with natural baits for pike, zander and perch. The bite-proof wire protects the leader from predator teeth, while its smooth, flexible material makes it suitable for building setups matched to your bait or lure.
The material resists kinking and has little memory effect, so it has less tendency to retain bends during handling. Its camouflage-brown colour helps reduce the risk of spooking fish. These properties are shared by all four versions.
The range comprises 0.28mm / 9kg, 0.36mm / 12kg, 0.46mm / 18kg and 0.58mm / 30kg. The 0.28mm version is the thinnest and has the lowest strength rating, followed by the 0.36mm and 0.46mm versions.
