The Stealth Smooth8 from Spiderwire is an eight-carrier (X8) PE braid built for predator fishing on freshwater and saltwater venues. Tightly woven and finished with a microcrystalline polymer coating, it casts long and stays manageable on the spool.
Eight PE fibres are densely interwoven into a round, smooth profile. The result is a slim, soft braid that flows quietly through the rod guides and improves castability without sacrificing strength or sensitivity.
A thin layer of high-resistance microcrystalline polymer covers each strand. The coating reduces surface friction, helps the line shed water and contributes to the smooth feel that characterises the Smooth8 series.
Despite the soft hand, the braid offers good knot strength and reliable break loads from 10.3 kg up to 38.1 kg. This makes it suitable for everything from finesse perch tactics on light gear to powerful pike sets and heavy lure work.
Every variant is supplied on a 300 m spool. Choose between diameters 0.11 mm, 0.13 mm, 0.15 mm, 0.19 mm, 0.23 mm, 0.29 mm and 0.33 mm in Moss Green, Translucent, Code Red or Hi-Vis Yellow to match water clarity and personal preference.
