SpiderWire Stealth® Smooth 12 Braid Hi-Vis Yellow is a braided fishing line for lure fishing. Its 12 tightly woven polyethylene (PE) strands form a dense, round braid that combines strength with sensitivity. The smooth, thin and soft line runs quietly through the rod guides, a useful handling characteristic when repeatedly casting and retrieving lures.
The line has high knot strength and a soft texture. The Hi-Vis Yellow colour makes the line easier to follow visually during lure fishing. All seven versions share this construction and colour.
The finest versions are 0.06mm / 5.4kg, 0.07mm / 6.0kg and 0.09mm / 7.5kg. These offer progressively higher breaking strain while retaining a small diameter. The 0.23mm / 23.6kg version is the next step when greater strength is needed, at the cost of a larger diameter.
Both 0.29mm and 0.33mm versions are rated at 31.8kg. Choose between them by diameter rather than expecting extra strength from the thicker version.
