SpiderWire Stealth® Smooth 12 Braid is a braided main line for predator lure fishing, with perch and pike listed as target fish. Twelve densely woven polyethylene (PE) fibres form a compact, round braid. Its smooth, thin and soft construction lets it run quietly through rod guides, while its strength and sensitivity support lure control and feedback.
The soft braid is supple to handle and is specified with high knot strength, an important consideration at the connection to your rig. All versions come in Hi-Vis Yellow, a visible yellow colour that helps you follow the line while fishing.
The six versions pair 0.06 mm with 5.4 kg, 0.07 mm with 6.0 kg, 0.09 mm with 7.5 kg, 0.19 mm with 18 kg, 0.23 mm with 23.6 kg and 0.33 mm with 38.1 kg. The three finest versions prioritise a smaller diameter at lower breaking strains. The 0.19 mm and 0.23 mm versions offer progressively higher breaking strains with a thicker line. The 0.33 mm version has both the largest diameter and the highest breaking strain in this family. Choose the diameter and stated strength to suit your setup rather than selecting by strength alone.
