These jig heads are intended for shads and other softbaits. All hook sizes in this selection use a Pro Peg holder to secure the lure body. Choose a hook size that fits your softbait, and supply the lure separately because the pack contains jig heads only.
#1/0 is available from 2–10.6 g, #2/0 from 3.5–10.6 g, #3/0 from 3.5–21 g and #4/0 from 10.6–21 g. Match the hook to the lure and choose the weight separately, with lighter heads for a slower fall and heavier heads for faster sinking. Packs contain three heads at 2–5.3 g, two at 7.2–10.6 g and one at 14–21 g.
Tungsten has a higher density, so a head of the same weight is smaller than a lead head. This gives a finer softbait presentation while retaining good casting ability and fast sinking, making it useful when you want weight without a bulky head.
No. The forged 1X carbon steel hooks have nano points and micro barbs. The small barb is still a barb, so these are not a barbless option for waters that require barbless hooks.

The Savage Gear Tungsten Ball Jighead is a round tungsten jig head for spinning and jigging with shads and other softbaits for perch, zander and pike. Tungsten is denser than lead, giving a smaller head at the same weight for a finer presentation while retaining good casting ability, water penetration and fast sinking. The supplier lists suitability for all water types.
Every size in this selection has a Pro Peg body holder, keeping the softbait securely in place during fishing. The precision-moulded round head is matt black, and the hook has a BN (black nickel) finish. The ultra-sharp, forged high carbon steel wire hook uses 1X carbon steel, nano points and micro barbs. Wire diameter is matched to each hook size to balance strength and penetration. These hooks are barbed, not barbless.
Match the hook size to your softbait, then choose the head weight for the presentation you need. At the same hook size, lighter heads give a slower fall, while heavier heads sink faster and help reach greater depth or work in stronger current. A larger hook does not automatically mean a heavier head. The available combinations are:
