Choose by diameter and stated breaking strain: 0.45 mm offers 10.7 kg, 0.50 mm 13.2 kg, 0.55 mm 15.9 kg, 0.60 mm 18.9 kg, 0.68 mm 22.4 kg and 0.77 mm 25.7 kg. Higher strength comes with thicker material. All provide 50 m except the 0.77 mm version, which provides 45 m. The 0.45 mm version is specifically described for zander in rivers and lakes.
It is intended for leaders used with jigs, soft lures and hard lures in freshwater and saltwater, including inshore and offshore fishing. Minimal stretch supports direct lure action and fast hook setting even in deep water, while abrasion resistance helps when fishing near rocks and other underwater hazards.
It is 100% fluorocarbon leader material supplied on a wrist spool, not a finished rig. You can cut your own leader lengths, choosing from 45 m or 50 m of material according to the selected diameter.

Savage Gear Super Hard Fluorocarbon is leader material made from 100% super-hard fluorocarbon for large, powerful fish in demanding conditions. Its high abrasion resistance helps it withstand contact with rocks and other underwater hazards, making it suited to inshore and offshore lure fishing. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater.
Minimal stretch helps transmit sharp movements to jigs, soft lures and hard lures, even in deep water, and supports immediate hook setting. The clear material is virtually invisible underwater, keeping the leader unobtrusive near the lure. High knot strength supports secure knotted connections. UV and chemical resistance add durability.
All six versions share the same material and Clear colour. Increasing diameter brings a higher stated breaking strain, so choose according to the strength your setup requires and the diameter you want to use.
