The Super Cast Egi 3.0 ND delivers unprecedented casting range for squid anglers. Thanks to an internal tungsten weight and the innovative Spring Cast system, this egi jig reaches depths and distances conventional squid lures cannot match.
By replacing the traditional external lead weight with an internal tungsten transfer weight, Savage Gear has created an egi that flies like a bullet. The Spring Cast system shifts the center of gravity during flight, stabilizing the lure and adding metres to every cast. Once the lure hits the water, it immediately adopts a hypnotic swimming action with sharp jerk response that triggers aggressive strikes.
The Normal Deep (ND) version sinks faster and works effectively in 2–12 m, making it ideal for targeting squid holding in deeper zones or stronger currents. The UV-enhanced colors remain highly visible across all light conditions and moon phases. A knock-knock rattle system produces an attractive clicking sound with every jerk, while the super-high-quality cloth body and Savage custom needles ensure solid hookups.
The Super Cast Egi 3.0 series is available in two sink rates:
3.0 NS (Normal Shallow) — 17 g, 1–7 m depth, ideal for shallow bays, harbors, and calmer coastal areas
3.0 ND (Normal Deep) — 19 g, 2–12 m depth, suited for deeper structure, channels, jetties, and offshore reef edges where squid hold in stronger current or greater depth
Both versions come in multiple UV-reactive colors including Vit-C, Fire N Ice, Ice N Fire, Napalm, Boops, Golden Nemesis, Pink Chaos, Ocean Candy, and White Spirit.
