Traditional egi lures rely on external lead weights that create drag and limit distance. Savage Gear relocated the ballast inside, using dense tungsten that pairs with the Spring Cast system to launch this 19 g lure far beyond conventional designs. The internal weight also delivers a hypnotic swimming action and sharp jerk response that triggers reactive strikes from squid.

Normal Deep sink rate for 2–12 m zones

The ND (Normal Deep) version sinks at 2.9 seconds per metre, making it ideal for targeting squid in 2–12 m depth ranges. High-quality cloth construction, advanced UV technology, and the knock-knock rattle system combine to attract squid under any light condition or moon phase. The Super Cast Egi 3.0 series is available in two sink rates to match your fishing zone:

• 3.0 NS (Normal Shallow) – 17 g, 4.3 sec/m sink rate, 1–7 m depth – shallow reefs, harbours, calm bays, early-morning or late-evening sessions

• 3.0 ND (Normal Deep) – 19 g, 2.9 sec/m sink rate, 2–12 m depth – deeper channels, offshore structures, mid-water columns, windy conditions
