The Savage Gear Sticklebait Spinner is a sinking inline spinner for freshwater lure fishing, with trout and asp listed as its primary species. It also suits perch fishing. Based on a 3D scan of a real stickleback, its detailed body combines subtle swimming movement with a flashing, rotating blade to attract bites.
The blade starts rotating immediately, bringing flash into the retrieve as soon as the lure moves. The built-in swivel stem helps prevent line kinking during repeated casts, while the body adds a subtler swimming movement alongside the blade.
The family offers three size and weight combinations: size 1 at 4.5 g, size 2 at 7.3 g and size 3 at 9.1 g. Choose the weight to suit your rod's casting range, from the lightest 4.5 g option through 7.3 g to the heaviest 9.1 g version. Hook sizes increase with lure size, so the choice changes both casting weight and hook dimensions. All versions sink, contain no lead and are unscented.
Each weight is available in Silver Red Yellow, Green Silver Ayu, Firetiger Gold, Minnow Gold Red, Dirty Silver Red and Copper Red. You can therefore change colour without changing the lure's weight or hook sizes.
