Built for modern offshore casting, the Savage Gear SGS2 Offshore Plug series is made for poppers, jigs, and heavy hard and soft lures in saltwater. The fast, reinforced blanks help you cast far, move lures with precision, and set hooks cleanly when fish strike at distance.
These rods use Toray high modulus carbon fibre with extra powerful reinforced blanks. That combination gives the series the backbone needed for hard fighting pelagic fish while keeping lure control crisp through the cast and retrieve.
The action suits jerking, twitching, popping, and cast jigging. Across the range, the different casting weights make it easier to choose a rod for smaller plugs and jigs or for larger, heavier offshore lures.
