SG6 4000 FD

The SG6 4000 spinning reel pairs a Carbon Reinforced Composite (CRC) body with an aluminium spool and 8+1 stainless steel bearings to deliver outstanding power and silky-smooth operation for pike, zander, and saltwater predators.
The CRC body and rotor offer significantly greater stiffness and durability than standard graphite, yet weigh much less. This means you can fight hard-pulling fish all day without fatigue, and the frame won't flex under load. The sealed carbon drag system handles extreme forces with confidence, while two Japanese ball bearings among the 8+1 total ensure butter-smooth retrieves even under pressure.
The aluminium spool features a non-slip design that grips braid directly—no mono backing required. A spare aluminium spool is included so you can switch line types or weights on the bank. The screw-in CNC aluminium handle, T-shaped line clip, and TPE soft-touch knob make rigging and cranking more comfortable, while Savage Gear's proprietary DuraGrease keeps internals running smoothly season after season.
The SG6 family spans sizes from ultra-light to heavy predator work. Match your reel to your target species and rod setup:
1000 – micro lures, trout, perch, ultralight rigs
2500 / 2500H – all-round freshwater, perch, smaller pike, light saltwater
3000 / 3000H – medium predators, pike, zander, light bass, versatile choice
4000 – larger pike, zander, saltwater, heavy lures, hard-fighting species
4000H – high-speed retrieve for fast lures, larger predators, saltwater
