The 6.6:1 version retrieves 66 cm per turn, while the 8.1:1 version retrieves 81 cm. Choose 6.6:1 for a slower retrieve at the same winding pace or 8.1:1 for quicker line pickup. Both share the same size, capacity, weight and left-hand handle position.
They are freshwater baitcasting reels for active predator fishing with small and large artificial lures. The compact size 100 body weighs 180 g. No numerical lure-weight rating is provided, so match the lure to your rod's rating rather than treating this broad description as a stated weight limit.
Both versions have the handle on the left and hold 130 m of 0.28 mm monofilament. Choose either only if you want to wind with your left hand, and use this diameter-specific capacity when planning your line fill.
These size 100 reels have an internal centrifugal brake, accessible through the hinged side plate. This is the casting brake for controlling spool speed, not an external brake adjustment. The tension knob is designed to stay attached during adjustment.
Line-ID lets you mark which line is fitted, helping you identify your setup among several reels. The Dragclicker gives an audible signal when line is pulled against the drag, so you can hear line being taken during a fight.

The Savage Gear SG6 100 BC LH 5P1BB is a left-hand, low-profile baitcasting reel for freshwater predator fishing with small and large artificial lures. Its compact, ergonomic body and 180 g reel weight make it manageable during active casting, while the aluminium frame and side plates provide support when fighting fish. LH (left-hand retrieve) means you wind with your left hand.
Both versions are size 100 and hold 130 m of 0.28 mm monofilament. The 6.6:1 version retrieves 66 cm per handle turn, giving a slower retrieve at the same winding pace. The 8.1:1 version retrieves 81 cm per turn, picking up line more quickly. Choose the slower version for a more measured retrieve or the faster version when quicker line recovery matters. Handle position, weight, capacity and construction are the same.
The size 100 uses an internal centrifugal casting brake to control spool speed during the cast. A hinged side plate provides access to the internal brake, and the non-loss tension knob stays attached during adjustment. No numerical lure-weight range is supplied, so the small- and large-lure description does not establish a specific casting limit.
The frame and side plates have an EDP-painted finish. A separate stainless steel reel seat provides the mounting point, while a soft-touch rubber handle knob gives a comfortable contact surface when winding. The reel has 5+1 steel ball bearings, a brass worm shaft and DuraGrease lubrication. The Dragclicker provides an audible indication when line is taken against the drag. Line-ID lets you mark the line fitted to the reel, making it easier to identify the setup when switching between reels.
