These freshwater spinning rods are designed for ultra-light to medium-light soft and hard lures in harbours, canals, small lakes and rivers. Their balanced build and highly visible, sensitive tips help you control the lure and see and feel subtle bites. The backbone provides power to set the hook.
The 1.98 m UL (Ultra Light) version covers 1–5 g with a moderate-fast action and weighs 88 g. It is the shortest option and suits the lightest lures in the line. The 2.13 m L (Light) version covers 2–10 g with a moderate-fast action. Its listed net weight is 198 g. The 2.13 m ML (Medium Light) version extends the range to 3–15 g with the same action and weighs 96 g.
The two MML versions cover 4–20 g with a fast action and power listed as Medium Light | Medium. Choose 2.08 m at 103 g for the shorter rod or 2.28 m at 117 g for more reach at the cost of extra length and weight. Select the rating around the lures you intend to use rather than treating all five rods as interchangeable.
The 2.08 m and 2.28 m 4–20 g versions and the 2.13 m 3–15 g version have 30Ton blanks and Seaguide line guides. All five rods separate into two sections for transport.
