The range is designed for soft lures, crankbaits, spinners, spinnerbaits, twitchbaits and Carolina rigs in freshwater. Choose the version whose casting range covers your lure weight.
All five versions have four sections. The 2.15 m rods pack to 69 cm, while the 2.43 m and 2.69 m rods pack to 76 cm. Compare these lengths with the available space in your luggage.
The 2.15 m 7–23 g and 2.43 m 7–25 g Medium Light versions are explicitly intended for perch and trout. Choose the shorter 125 g rod for the lowest rod weight and shortest transport length, or the longer 145 g rod for more length.

The SG4 Medium Game Travel is a four-piece freshwater spinning rod for active predator fishing on trips. Its 69 or 76 cm transport length makes it easier to pack without giving up a full-length fishing rod.
The balanced blanks provide feel when working medium lures. The forgiving action helps reduce hook pulls and line breaks during the fight. The range is designed for soft lures, crankbaits, spinners, spinnerbaits, twitchbaits and Carolina rigs. Match your lure weight to the chosen version's rating.
The 2.15 m, 7–23 g version has Medium Light power, Fast action and weighs 125 g. It is the lightest option and packs to 69 cm for perch and trout lure fishing. The 2.43 m, 7–25 g version offers more length with Medium Light power and Moderate Fast action, weighs 145 g and packs to 76 cm, also for perch and trout.
For heavier lures, the 2.15 m, 10–40 g version combines Medium power and Moderate Fast action with 133 g rod weight and a 69 cm transport length. The 2.43 m, 12–45 g version retains Medium power and Moderate Fast action but raises the lure ceiling, weighing 152 g and packing to 76 cm.
The longest option is the 2.69 m, 15–45 g version with Medium Heavy power, Fast action and 149 g rod weight. It is specifically described for long casts and lure control from the bank for zander, pike and perch. It packs to the same 76 cm as the 2.43 m rods, but its higher minimum lure rating makes it less suited to the lightest lures in the range.
All versions have a 30Ton blank and Seaguide line guides. The 2.69 m version also specifies a Japanese Toray 30T blank and an ergonomically shaped EVA handle for the gripping area. These extra construction details are not specified for the other versions.
