The Savage Gear SG4 Fast Game Travel spinning rods are designed for freshwater fishing with medium to medium-heavy lures. Four sections reduce their transport length to 62 or 70 cm, making them easier to pack for fishing trips.
Both models suit soft lures, hard lures, spinnerbaits and spoons within their stated casting weights. Their balanced, sensitive blanks provide feedback while working lures and power for controlling larger fish. Both use 30Ton blank material and Seaguide guides to carry the line along the rod.
The 2.15 m model casts 20–60 g and has Fast action with Medium Heavy (MH) power. At 152 g and a transport length of 62 cm, it is the lighter, more compact option and accommodates lighter lures than the longer version.
The 2.43 m model casts 30–80 g and has Moderate Fast action with Extra Heavy (XH) power. It offers the higher lure-weight ceiling and longer rod, at the cost of 180 g rod weight and a 70 cm transport length. Choose between them by your lure weights, preferred rod length and available packing space.
