The Savage Gear SG4 Fast Game spinning rods are designed for freshwater predator fishing with medium to medium-heavy lures. Their balanced, sensitive blanks provide feedback when working soft lures, hard lures, spinnerbaits and spoons, with power for playing larger fish while reducing the risk of hook pulls or line breaks.
All versions use a 30Ton blank and Seaguide guides. The balanced, sensitive construction provides feedback during lure retrieval, while the guides carry the line along the rod.
Match your lure weight to the stated range first. The 15–50 g version covers the lightest range here, while the 30–80 g and 35–90 g versions accommodate heavier lures with Moderate Fast action. The other versions have Fast action. For 20–60 g lures, choose between 1.98, 2.43 and 2.71 m. For 25–70 g lures, choose 2.21 or 2.59 m. Shorter rods take up less space in use and transport, while longer rods provide more reach. Power ratings distinguish the versions independently of action.
