These Coastal Specialist spinning rods are designed for sea trout and salmon on the coast and in rivers with light to medium lures. Their responsive, powerful Moderate Fast action supports long casts while cushioning the fight to help reduce hook pulls.
Lightweight Japanese Torayca 30/40T carbon blanks combine with SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings for a balanced rod. The blank specification includes 4X Wrap. A FUJI reel seat secures the reel, while premium cork handles provide the grip for casting and playing fish.
The 2.46 m versions offer 5–18 g with Light power at 120 g or 7–24 g with Medium Light | Medium power at 124 g. Both pack down to 127 cm, the shortest transport length in the range.
At 2.79 m, choose 7–24 g and 144 g with Medium Light | Medium power, or 9–32 g and 148 g with Medium | Medium Heavy power. Both have a 144 cm transport length. The 2.90 m version sits between these and the longest rods, with 8–28 g, Medium power, 152 g rod weight and 148 cm transport length.
The 3.05 m versions have a 156 cm transport length. The 9–32 g version weighs 170 g and has Medium | Medium Heavy power. The 10-36G model weighs 180 g and has Medium Heavy power.
