The Savage Gear Rib Worm is a soft ragworm imitation for active lure fishing for perch, bass and zander. Its ribbed, ringed body keeps it swimming at slow retrieve speeds, so you can slow the presentation without losing its lifelike movement and lively tail action.
The lure is scented and salted. Its scent helps attract predators from a distance, adding an attraction cue alongside the worm's movement. The supplier also specifies that the lure contains no lead.
Hook slots on both the back and belly make mounting on extra-wide-gap (EWG) hooks or offset worm hooks straightforward. Choose one of these hook types for your setup. The lure bodies are supplied unrigged, rather than as ready-mounted jigs.
Choose between 9 cm at 3 g with 10 lure bodies per pack and 10.5 cm at 5 g with 8 per pack. The 9 cm version offers a smaller, lighter worm and two more bodies, while the 10.5 cm version provides a longer, heavier profile. Both share the same ribbed body, hook slots and scented, salted construction for the stated target fish.
Each size is available in Plum, Junebug, Red N Black (RNB), Green Pumpkin (GPK) and Motor Oil (MOTOR O). Packs contain one selected colour, not a mixed assortment. Choose the size, lure weight and colour you want rather than expecting a different action from each colour.
