The Savage Gear RevMag Walker is a floating topwater lure for saltwater lure fishing, with sea bass named as its primary target. Its magnetic RevMag weight-transfer system combines long, steady casts with a flat landing that produces little splash. Both sizes use the same system and maintain a natural, horizontal position on the surface.
RevMag uses magnetic attraction and repulsion together. During the cast, the lure behaves like a rear-weighted lure, helping it cut through wind. As its speed drops before landing, the weight moves forward and the front magnet engages. This limits deep diving on entry and helps avoid snagging weeds during the landing.
Once the weight is centered, the lure sits parallel to the surface and produces an extra-wide walking action. It can attract strikes during pauses as well as while moving, and reflects light even at rest. The tungsten weight is part of this balance and casting system.
