Choose the 1.72 m Medium Heavy version for 15–50 g lures or the 1.90 m Heavy version for 20–80 g. Both have Extra Fast action for pelagic vertical fishing, but only the longer version covers lure weights above 50 g, while the shorter version covers weights down to 15 g.
Both are designed for baitcasting reels and pelagic vertical fishing from a boat with live sonar in freshwater. They have Fuji reel seats and sensitive blanks with strong backbones for firm hooksets on large zander and pike. Select them for this boat-based presentation rather than as general long-casting rods.
The 1.90 m rod packs shorter at 157 cm because its handle is removable in a 1+1 construction. The 1.72 m rod is one-piece and remains 172 cm long for transport, although it weighs less at 118 g versus 141 g. Both include a Competition Ready-to-fish rod bag, so choose by available transport space as well as lure rating.
The spiral-mounted SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings help prevent the line becoming tangled around the tip while fishing. Both versions use this layout, so you do not have to choose the heavier rod to get this line-control feature for vertical presentations.

The Revenge SG6 Pelagic Vertical BC is a baitcasting (BC) rod developed for pelagic vertical fishing with live sonar from a boat in freshwater. Its sensitive, lightweight blank and powerful backbone support controlled presentations and firm hooksets on large zander. It is also suited to targeting pike.
The Japanese Torayca 30/40T carbon blank has an Extra Fast action for a responsive feel, with the backbone needed to set the hook firmly. The 4X Wrap Carbon reinforcement adds strength to the blank. Spiral-mounted SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings help prevent the line wrapping around the tip during fishing, keeping the focus on the vertical presentation.
Both versions are designed for baitcasting reels and have a Fuji reel seat and premium cork handles. These are dedicated vertical rods for boat fishing with live sonar, rather than general-purpose rods selected primarily for casting distance.
The 1.90 m version is rated for 20–80 g lures and has Heavy power. It weighs 141 g and uses a 1+1 construction with a removable handle, reducing its transport length to 157 cm. Choose it for the higher lure-weight range when you need to fish above the smaller version's 50 g rating.
The 1.72 m version is rated for 15–50 g lures and has Medium Heavy power. It weighs 118 g and is one-piece, so its transport length remains 172 cm. It offers the lower lure-weight range and less rod weight, but needs more transport space than the longer rod with its handle removed. Both versions share the same Extra Fast action and components.
