These freshwater spinning rods are designed for medium lures, combining a balanced 24+30T high-modulus carbon blank with a forgiving response during the fight to help reduce hook pulls and line breaks. They cover soft lures, crankbaits, spinners, spinnerbaits, twitchbaits and Carolina rigs. Perch and zander are supported uses across the range, with trout also specified for the 1.98m and 2.51m 7–23g versions.
SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings guide the line, while the Double-Lock reel seat holds the spinning reel securely. Every black rod has a split grip made from Duragrip 70. Guide counts include the tip and vary from eight to ten.
Match the casting range to your lure first. The Medium Light 7–23g rods are available at 1.98m, 2.21m and 2.51m. Medium options cover 10–30g at 2.13m and 2.43m, 12–35g at 1.98m, 2.21m and 2.51m, and 7–25g at 2.69m. The Medium Heavy 2.43m 14–40g and 2.69m 15–45g versions accommodate heavier lures but have higher minimum casting weights.
Both 1.98m rods have Moderate Fast action. The two Medium Heavy versions have Extra Fast action, and all others have Fast action. Shorter rods reduce the space needed for handling and transport, while longer versions provide more reach. Length alone does not determine weight, so compare the figures below.
