Designed for soft lures, crankbaits, spinners, spinnerbaits, twitchbaits and Carolina rigs, these rods let you change presentations without changing to a technique-specific rod. Select the version whose casting range covers your intended lure or rig weight. The fast action provides direct feedback, while the forgiving response helps cushion a hooked fish.
These are rods for baitcasting reels. The Double Lock reel seat holds the reel securely, while the split grip uses Duragrip 70 handle material. Each rod has 11 guides including the tip. SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN (silicon nitride) rings guide the line along the blank. All versions have a black finish.
2.13 m, 10–30 g, Medium: At 158 g, this is the lightest rod in the family and the option for the lowest lure weights covered here. It packs down to 112 cm. Choose it over the heavier-rated versions when your lures fall in the 10–30 g range.
2.30 m, 15–35 g, Medium: This version offers the longest blank, with more reach than the 2.13 m rods, and weighs 165 g. Its 121 cm transport length needs more storage space. Choose it for the longer rod length with lures in the 15–35 g range, rather than for the highest casting capacity.
2.13 m, 15–45 g, Medium Heavy: This 164 g version accommodates the heaviest lures in the family while retaining the 112 cm transport length of the shorter rods. Its higher upper rating comes with a 15 g lower limit, compared with 10 g on the lighter 2.13 m version.
