The range is designed for softbaits, hardbaits, spinnerbaits and spoons in freshwater. Individual ratings run from 15–50 g to 30–80 g, so choose a version whose stated casting range covers your lure weight rather than treating every Heavy Game model as the same strength.
The 20–60 g version has Heavy power and weighs 185 g. The 30–80 g version has Extra Heavy power and weighs 193 g. Choose the latter for its higher lure-weight range, accepting the higher minimum rating and rod weight. Both have the same 134 cm transport length.
The 2.21 m rod is the most compact at 115 cm packed length. The 2.43 m rod packs to 127 cm, both 2.59 m rods to 134 cm and both 2.71 m rods to 141 cm. All are two-piece rods supplied with a Competition Ready-To-Fish rod bag, so compare these packed lengths with your available space.
Choose the 15–50 g Medium Heavy version for the lower lure-weight range or the 25–70 g Heavy version for heavier lures. They weigh 174 g and 180 g respectively. Both have Fast action and a 141 cm transport length, so lure weight and power are the main differences at this length.

The Revenge SG2 Heavy Game is a family of freshwater spinning rods for medium-heavy to heavy lures. Balanced handling and responsive 24+30T high-modulus carbon blanks provide lure feel and power for playing larger predators. The range covers 2.21–2.71 m and casting weights from 15–50 g to 30–80 g, so choose the individual rating to suit your lures.
These rods are designed for soft lures, hard lures, spinnerbaits and spoons. Pike are a supported target throughout the range, with zander also named for the 2.43 m, 2.59 m and 2.71 m versions. The supplier also identifies perch for the 2.21 m and 2.43 m versions, although these are medium-heavy or heavy rods rather than light-lure models.
The 2.21 m, 25–70 g version has Heavy power and weighs 173 g. It is the shortest option and packs down to 115 cm, making it the most compact choice for handling and transport.
The 2.43 m, 15–55 g version has Medium Heavy power and weighs 161 g. It is the lightest rod in the family and has a transport length of 127 cm. Choose it when you want the lower 15 g rating without the length of the 2.71 m version.
Two 2.59 m versions offer different lure ranges. The 20–60 g rod has Heavy power and weighs 185 g. The 30–80 g rod has Extra Heavy power and weighs 193 g, offering the highest upper casting weight in this family but a higher minimum lure weight too. Both pack down to 134 cm.
At 2.71 m, the 15–50 g Medium Heavy rod weighs 174 g, while the 25–70 g Heavy rod weighs 180 g. Both offer the longest reach in the range and have a 141 cm transport length. Choose between them by lure weight rather than length alone. Fast action is specified for the 2.21 m 25–70 g, 2.59 m 20–60 g and both 2.71 m versions.
Each black rod has nine guides including the tip. SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings guide the line during casting and playing fish. The Double Lock reel seat secures the reel, while the split grip uses Duragrip 70 handle material. These shared components let you choose by dimensions and lure rating without changing the basic handle and guide setup.
Every version has two sections and comes with a Competition Ready-To-Fish rod bag. Transport lengths range from 115 to 141 cm, so check the packed length against your storage and travel space as well as the fishing length.
