Yes. The Pro Grub is intended for these freshwater predators, and its very thin curly tail remains lively at very slow speeds. This lets you use a slow presentation while retaining tail movement, with either a small jig head or a drop-shot rig.

The Savage Gear Pro Grub is a soft plastic lure for freshwater spinning for perch, trout and zander. Its very thin curly tail moves readily even at very slow speeds, so you can slow the retrieve without losing the lively tail action.
A nymph-style front body and ribbed tail bridge lead into the curly tail. The material is super soft. Use the Pro Grub with a small jig head or on a drop-shot rig, giving you two supported ways to present the same lure. The lure body contains no lead.
The range offers 5 cm at 0.8 g and 6.5 cm at 2 g. Choose 5 cm for a smaller, lighter lure body or 6.5 cm for a larger, heavier presentation. Both sizes share the same tail design, target species and rigging options, so size selection does not require a change of lure type.
Each size comes in Green Pumpkin, Motor Oil, Plum, June Bug and Red N Black. Select the size and colour separately, with eight softbait bodies in the chosen colour per pack.
