It is a soft creature bait with a salamander profile, designed for finesse presentations such as Ned-style fishing.
Supplier information points to perch and bass, and the bait can also be a good option for zander and other predatory fish that respond to compact soft baits.
The variants differ mainly by colour. Choose a natural shade for clearer water and cautious fish, or a darker or brighter colour for more contrast in lower visibility.

The Savage Gear Ned Salamander is a compact creature bait for finesse spinning, built to imitate a small salamander with subtle movement and buoyant posture. Its ribbed body, fine appendages, and salt-infused Duratech material help it stay active on slow presentations for perch, bass, zander, and other predators.
The 7.5 cm body shape imitates an easy prey item that predators often attack around cover, nests, and feeding areas. The appendages and ribbed profile create movement even with gentle rod input.
The floating material helps the bait stand up well on the bottom, which suits Ned rigs and other finesse setups. It is also a good option when fish want a slower, more natural presentation.
Savage Gear uses a Duratech soft plastic formula with salt infusion for a balanced sink rate and buoyancy. The scented material adds another trigger when fish inspect the lure closely.
All variants share the same size, weight, and action, so the choice mainly comes down to colour. Natural shades can be a safe starting point in clear water, while darker or brighter colours can help with contrast when visibility drops.
Each pack contains 5 soft baits in one selected colour.
