It is intended for freshwater surface fishing around grass mats, lily pads and shaded pockets, with pike listed as the primary target. Its floating design suits presentations at the surface around cover rather than a diving retrieve.
Yes. The supplier describes a walking action in place, allowing you to keep the lure working around a selected pocket. You can also switch to popping through cover with the same lure.
No differences in size, weight, buoyancy or action are specified. Black, Tan, Green Leopard and Gill are all 5.5 cm, 15 g floating versions with walking and popping action, so select the finish without changing those specifications.
Each pack contains one frog in the chosen colour, equipped with a heavy-duty wide-gap frog hook. The upward-pointing hook point is designed to improve the hookup ratio, so each colour offers the same hook design rather than a different rigging option.

The Savage Gear Hop Popper Frog is a floating frog imitation for freshwater lure fishing, with pike named as its primary target. Its walking and popping action lets you work grass mats, lily pads and shaded pockets where predators hold under cover.
The Hop Popper can walk in place, keeping the presentation around a particular pocket, or be worked with a popping retrieve through cover. These two actions give you a choice of presentation without changing the lure.
A heavy-duty frog hook with a wide gap provides a strong hook pattern for fishing around cover. Its upward-pointing hook point is designed to improve the hookup ratio. The lure also has premium hand-painted details and a premium rubber skirt.
Choose Black, Tan, Green Leopard or Gill. All four versions measure 5.5 cm, weigh 15 g and float, so the choice changes the finish rather than the size, weight or buoyancy. No colour-specific fishing conditions are specified. Each pack contains one frog in the selected colour. All versions are unscented and contain lead.
